Inspiration for quarantine time + Green Emerald juice recipe for Immunity

I’ve been in a self-induced IG quarantine the last week or so as I needed a rest and listen to that inner voice that knows the needs of body and mind. It has felt good to just be…. in a time of change; a lot of internal and external changes are taking place yet I do see the beauty in the opportunity to fine tune our reality and life values.

The world seems to be in midst chaos, people are losing jobs and panic is stirring as this kind of uncertainty feels unfamiliar. I see the opportunities too despite the circumstances we are in. This time calls for reflection. The collective consciousness is expanding and we are questioned of how well we take care of ourselves and our earth? The pollution in China is drastically decreasing, you can see clear blue water in the canals of Venice while many people realize their routine is build on repetitive actions that doesn’t bring them true joy. It’s a wake-up call for all of us to stop and evaluate what’s important and how we spend the majority of our time. Do we continuously take inspired actions that serve ourselves, someone else and do we contribute to positive changes on broader scale on this planet? 

We should be building communities in this time, sharing each our internal worlds, inspiration, kindness & Love. We live in a virtual world and can easily connect with others…. There is no need of hiding while we ride out “the wave of lock-down”.
Human connection expands our hearts and allows us to be vulnerable both in times of joy and in times of crisis. I’ve learned that going through crisis also brings great joy, clarity and growth yet we can’t always see through the fog whilst being in the midst of it.

I wanted to share some Inspiration for strengthening your immunity and some ideas for activities during these slow-living days. I also created a powerful green juice recipe filled with anti-viral good stuff for you to enjoy and feel more empowered with your health. Showing kindness during these times with lots of overwhelm and uncertainty is the greatest way to convert worry and fear into faith that this crisis will bring good changes too.

1. Making homemade gifts for family and friends and bring them like the-good-old-days fresh milk delivery to their doorstep. It’s the intention behind our actions that counts.
2. Create, create & create…. Use the time to dive into your creativity and things that excites you.  The most important value we can all pursue is joy and we can always find those little moments of joy even when the world is upside down.
3. Meditate and allow stillness to surround you….. This will connect you deeper to your core and intuition and help sooth worry or anxiety. I love Joe Dispenza’s meditations for deeper quantum healing and Deepak Chopra’s offers in this moment a 21 day challenge meditation.
4. Create community and not separation. showing up for someone in your circle expressing how much you value your relationship. Just because we are physically separated at the moment doesn’t take away the fact that we are still connected and all thrive in connections to those around us.
5. Fresh juices with turmeric, ginger & herbs like rosemary, oregano, and thyme to boost your immunity and protects you from viral infections.

I hope a few of these ideas will give you hope and inspiration to spend extra time at home during this times of quarantine.

Green Emerald Immunity

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of selleri

  • 1 cucumber

  • 5-6 crisp juicy apples

  • 2 chunks of turmeric

  • 1 chunk of ginger

  • juice from 1 lemon

  • a large handful of fresh parsley

  • a small handful of fresh rosemary

  • a small handful of fresh oregano

  • 2 sprigs of fresh thyme


Instructions

  • Juice all the ingredients through a slowjuicer and strain it through a fine mesh strainer.

  • I like to add drops of Ashadrene that helps protect us from stress and Zink, a mineral that protects us from viral infections infections.
