Do you get a little thrown of when you see the word healing or detox in a recipe?

Healing foods doesn’t mean you have to starve or deprive yourself of good satiating foods it just mean you practice more awareness around food and you select wisely the foods that will uplift you and nurture you instead of adding an extra burden. Especially if you are dealing with health issues is so important not adding extra acidity to an overburdened system.

Start experiment with new foods or recipes that excites you and make it fun in the process. You do not have to change dramatically your whole diet overnight however create one new habit that feels good emotionally and that your body will appreciate as well and then one to the next new habit you feel you would like to commit to or even better that excites you. It’s not a deprivation it about coming back to your body’s needs.

If you find a handful or inspiring new recipes that creates excitement around a particular meal it won’t feel like a dread to change your habits. It will lead to new inspiration and you it may even lead to more ideas and twists of that one recipe in variations.
